Just finished Day 2 of Month 2 - Max Interval Plyo. Jesus fuckin Christ. They must make these super-duper hard so you feel like you've accomplished something once you've finished. Or maybe it's just to make you feel like a weenie. I don't know. All I know is I'm sitting here in a pool of my own sweat.
They had those dreaded S-S (Side to Side) Floor Hops in the warm-up again. Argh! Max Interval Plyo wasn't as fast paced as yesterday's Max Interval Circuit. Max Interval Plyo had a lot of moves that required control (and a lot of strength!).Squat push-ups was one. You start in a squat position. Keeping that same position, you fall forward onto your hands, and push-yourself back up. Again, this workout was about 60 minutes, which I think sucks ass. But hey, what can you do.
I checked my heart rate this time. My heart rate never got higher than 157. It stayed between 130 - 150 during most intervals. My heart rate during most of my easy runs is usually around 155-160. I thought that was odd, because it feels like Insanity, especially Month 2, is waaaaaaaaaay harder than running.
