Weenie Attempts Insanity's Max Cardio Conditioning

I said "attempt" because I spent a good portion of the work-out just standing around sweating and hating life. Unlike Max Interval Circuit and Max Interval Plyo, Max Cardio Conditioning was only about 50 minutes. (50 minutes of pure torture!) Unlike the previous two work-outs, Max Cardio Conditioning does not repeat sets. You do about a 10 minute "warm-up," 5 minutes of stretching, and then about 30 minutes of non-stop exercises! The only "breaks" you get during this 30 minutes is maybe about 5 to 10 seconds between some exercises while Shaun T explains the moves.

I don't know. Month 1 of Insanity was fun. I looked forward to the work-outs. They were hard, but kinda-sorta doable. Month 2 just seems ridiculous. I want to give up. I dread these work-outs - the length, the degree of difficulty, the required strength and endurance. It's not fun anymore.

By the way, this was my only work-out of the day. I had intended to go for a run at the gym after work, but came home instead. When I started the work-out I could hear all my joints popping and cracking. I'm getting old. Sigh.
