Insanity - Week 5 Fit Test Results & Month 2's Max Interval Circuit (aka I Want To Fuckin Die)

I did the Fit Test yesterday with the husband as he was restarting Insanity. This Fit Test left me breathless and gasping for air after nearly each exercise. Results are from 10/03/10, 10/17/10, 11/07/10 and when I restarted again at 12/05/10, 12/20/10 and 01/09/11.

Switch Kicks - 48.5 - 50 - 51 - 55 - 62 - 63

Power Jacks - 42 - 47 - 46 - 50 - 52 - 52

Power Knees - 86 - 104 - 110 - 112 - 120 - 130

Power Jumps - 31 - 35 - 37 - 41 - 38 - 39

Globe Jumps - 8 - 10 - 11 - 11.75 - 12 - 12

Suicide Jumps - 15 - 19 - 17 - 18 - 19 - 20

Push-up Jacks - 20 - 30 - 27 - 40 - 45 - 38

Low Plank Obliques - 22 - 35 - 40 - 40 - 45 - 42

I improved in some, did the same in some, and fell way short in others. Still, if you compare the last numbers to the very first numbers, I have improved a great deal.

After the Fit Test I did Max Interval Circuit. Fuck! This. Was. Hard. I had to take breaks during the first set of the warm-up! The first set of the freakin warm-up! When he goes slow! Unlike Month 1 workouts, which were mostly about 40 minutes in length, this one was about 60 minutes. Sigh. One of the new warm-up moves is S-S (Side to Side) Floor Hops. Hands are on the floor, tush slightly in the air, both knees bent and off center in-line behind your left arm. You then kick up and land with your feet behind your right arm. And repeat. These suck! And that's just a freakin warm-up move. That you have to do three freakin times. (The warm-up, as well as the other sets in this work-out and most other Insanity work-outs, repeats three times).

The fun thing about Month 2 work-outs is that the cast/work-out people (I have no idea what to call them) are a bit more involved. Shaun T talks to them more during the work-outs. You also see them moving from their spots and working with each other. I thought it was pretty cute. Oh, and at the end of this work-out, pretty much the entire cast is laying on the floor from exhaustion. Hehe. Like me.

Sigh. It's almost 9 pm right now and I still have Max Interval Plyo to do. I'm not really looking forward to it. Sigh.
